As a photographer, I've always had a camera in my hands, thanks to my early days 'dabbling' with my dad's camera as a kid. However, it wasn't until my mid-20s, during a college class that delved into the world of darkroom techniques, that my true passion for photography ignited.

Life's demands took me in different directions for a while, with higher education pursuits and the joys of motherhood, but photography never truly left my heart. It was during my time working at the university that I rediscovered my love for the art. I immersed myself in classes, honing my skills in digital photography, mastering Lightroom and Photoshop, and embracing new techniques.

My journey took an unexpected turn during a memorable trip to China's rural areas, where the weathered faces of the elderly captivated me. Their stories etched into their expressions, and I realized the profound beauty in capturing the human spirit. From that day forward, my passion shifted from capturing empty landscapes to celebrating the beauty and uniqueness of people. Through my lens, I aim to capture not just images but the essence of individuals, their stories, and the moments that define them.
